Food and Crime
Has anyone else noticed lately that there have been a few fairly eerie stories regarding criminals and the fast food industry. For instance, back in July, Tamien Bain, who was convicted for holding up a McDonald's at gunpoint and served around 14 years for the crime, took fourth place honors in penning a Big Mac jingle. Seriously. WTF? One would think that after getting one's ass busted for holding up a fast food joint, the last you'd want to do is write a song about said restaurant's famed special sauce-slathered heartstopper.
And if that weren't bad enough, Tremayne Durham, a potential candidate for this year's Darwin Awards should he face the death penalty, plead guilty to the murder of a 33-year old man in exchange for ... wait for it ... Kentucky Fried Chicken, Popeye's, and pizza. WTF?
I wonder what he would have plead to for a really good meal?
